Here is a stunning pair of earrings from the Georgian period, a conversion from an antique French made cross from the Normandie region called “Croix de Saint-Lô”, made of silver and rock crystal with black dot foil and closed backs, and some classic diamond pastes, made of glass and silver with black dot foiled and closed backs. Both elements are authentic and they fit brilliantly together. They are dangling from 18k yellow gold French wires. The dimensions of the first element, the paste, are : 7mm diameter for the paste including bezel with a depth of 6mm The dimensions of the rock crystal element are: 22x27.5mm From top of curved wire to end of paste: 42.5mm dangling portion only: 32mm Total weight is 5.8grams Please note: a trace of solder from a repair is visible on the back of one of the cross element.
